What do you have in mind for a final project? Were you planning on doing an oral history? If so, the documents could be used as discussion points and provide context to your oral history. If you have more questions let us know. Otherwise, we'll be going over final projects in class this week and can provide more help then.

Zarqa,
I think you have done very well so far. Obviously the materials you have collected have raised some questions for you. I suggest that you uwrite down those questions and use them as the basis for an oral history interview with your father. Make an apppintment with him to do this and find a quiet place where you will not be interrupted. As you ask him the questions, more may occur to you, and ask these as well. Either record the interview on an audiotape machine, or write down his answers. After you have the audio tape, transcribe it to be included in your project. If you integrate this with the materials you have already collected, you will have a great project. Please feel free to contact me directly (joanne.rudof@yale.edu), if you have additional questions or need more help.
Good luck,
Joanne
